No I like you guys :thumb:
warwick.hoy wrote: I'm actually thinking about getting a different fuzz to put in place of the Supercollider. It's like it's pumps out too much low end.

I have this prob with almost every bigmuff variant I have tried.
warwick.hoy wrote:I had a problem with my GK class D amp due to all the fuzz I was throwing at it,...so I switched to a different amp (my old solid state Yamaha Poweramp and Ampeg SVP 1500). Even then it was overheating and going into "protect". I think the vent fan in the poweramp is too week. We threw a small fan on it and seem to stop it from going into "protect"

There is an old 70's SVT that needs to be repaired at the rehearsal space. They guy it belongs to isn't even a musician. It was his neglectful father's. I'm hoping to talk him into letting me get it repaired and hopefully letting me use/buy it.

Excellent :excellent:

I hope that works out I used a SVTCL for years, great amps for fuzzyness. Actually I had my CL overheat once... in a session... on a take... took out part of the PCB... and cost over $400 to fix....
warwick.hoy wrote:Also I agree this place is way more fun,...at least the OT portion of it, and I'm not too worried about getting the TOU thrown at me for posting gear related banter in the general forum. The rest of ILF is a little intimidating,...or at least difficult to know where to start? Too many guitards in the gear portions and I have no idea what they are talking about it seems, and the brand specific subforums seem a little slow. I'm also not interested in padding my post totals.

Well the subforums are what they are for.. But if you want more bass discussion in gear :poke:

And that's it for me too... laterz

Yikes,...I meant to say the Yammy is a preamp and Ampeg is the Poweramp. All SS

I really want to hear that old SVT though,...I betting it's beast. I'm willing to pump a little bit of cash into getting it fixed. If it the guy just lets me use it that would be better than shelling out a wad for a new one. It's a 300 watt model bee tee dub so it's definitely an SVT and not a V-4.

I missed that,...you must have done it in such a way that mods/admin and dummies like me would just glance over it.
