I still want to know what features were going to be in the Sr. I may have to get the prototype if is the most insane delay in the universe.

I will not rest until I know what this Disaster Transport Sr was going to be.

If you ever sell that prototype, give me a heads up. I probably would sell some pedals close to my heart for this.

For those of youze that have one of these guys - how much effect does the tone knob have?

I really dig the clips I have heard so far, but also want something that can get a few clear-ish repeats before melting into that swirling ambient goodness.

So what say you?

tone knob is really subtle u can def hear the changes

but its not gonna take u from analog sounding darker on the left to the crystal clears of a digital on the right'

its just enough if u need to brighten it up a little bit or cut it back to make it less harsh
:thumb: but thats just me

Thanks for the answer. Sounds about what I need it to do - I may have to pull the trigger on one in the near future.

Just out of curiosity, and as a resident of Ohio, did you name the disaster transport after the roller coaster? :animal:

It's the new version of the original. I changed the modulation to make it more manageable (to build and to use), added a tone control that lets you filter it how you please (it also doubles as a noise filter on longer times by rolling it all the way down), made it a little more tape like with stronger and near infinite repeats before it goes into oscillation and put it in a more pedal board friendly format. The Jr. is the same as this in an "MXR" style enclosure minus the modulation. The Sr. is a ways off and it'll be a limited item when it sees the light of day. There are WAY to many parts in the Sr. to make a production run out of it (at least if we still want to build them by hand).

On the old versions the modulation was effecting the delay time, right? Is that part different now? Do I sound like an idiot asking that? That was my fairly basic understanding of it before and it seemed like that was a different approach to modulated delay than what is in a lot of other boxes.
