I just got done with episode one of Hip-Hop Evolution.
I'm in love with Arrested Development for the first time. And, it is glorious!
After series 1, I think we're gonna give up on Black Mirror.
Up next will probably be American Horror Story or Penny Dreadful. We're somewhere close to watching Dark Matter, too.
I think Pontypool was the last good movie I saw on Netflix. Burn After Reading was alright. ARQ was alright. I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House was not. Zack and Miri... was not.
I still need to watch Nymphomaniac Vol. II. My wife wants to watch A Christmas Horror Story. Maybe we'll check out Yoga Hosers. Did anyone see the Jimi biopic with Andre 3000? I was waiting forever on that, and didn't realize it had even come out. Worth watching?

i'm not into documentaries and just yesterday was thinking whether or not i should continue with netflix since all they stockpile is shitty NR flicks that obviously suck since they didn't make it to theater. like i'm going to bother.
good thing the stuff they're making themselves is good.
good good.
good.
aside from the enormous catalog of worthless crap.
they even drop good stuff sometimes. like how i was halfway through "the burbs" and they dropped it for some reason. if they weren't forced to they are even further idiots.
i'm extra grumpy today.

Yeah, it pissed me off when the reboot Battlestar got dropped because I was right in the middle of it.

Nymphomaniac was awesome. Also guaranteed to lead to doin' stuff.
I need a light-viewing type series for laying down. Not totally stupid but not too interesting either...
Did just watch Cosmos though and that was amazingly good.
I have a hard time because I can't actually think of anything to watch and everything in their recommended categories looks crappy. So I reach the end of the category and I'm still lost...

i also wish SO much that they'd simply add filters.
"i don't want to watch NA, TV, G, PG..."

Netflix has surprised me lately--the quality has gotten better (or at least I think so).
This page gets updated every month, and has been really good for me finding out about new acquisitions vs continuing to think that Netflix etc are just bogus stockpiles of crap:

I'm still holding on to the hope that they'll get Home Movies back.

Daredevil season 2 is fucking badass.
If anyone is looking for a movie, I can't recommend Midnight Special enough.
Frank is also hilarious and good.

Have y'all seen the surprise trailer released today. This looks crazy. Hope it can live up to the hype I just invented in my head for it.

White Rabbit Project has all the ingredients to be really interesting but it kinda sucks.

+1000
Currently watching it and I just can't bring myself to like it. It makes for decent background noise when working, but it's just. so. bad.
