I'm going to start with a  for all of you because there's a list of bummers since I was last in this thread.

Dubkitty, you'll get going again! I went through a similar (though shorter) ordeal a few years back. A year of no job, moving around, wondering what my future was going to be..... when I got my job back in the town that so desperately tried to get out of it was definitely weird. But take heart, man, now you'll be able to move on from the bad times! The past is past and it sounds like you have a pretty decent thing going! :thumb:

As for me.... I'm going to say that I finally am going to meet with the most recent ex-girlfriend to get my acoustic guitar, keyboard, and some other shit back tomorrow. I also have to give her the xmas gift I got for her just before we broke up.

And I was starting to feel alright being single and living by myself again. I hope seeing her doesn't fuck with me too much.

I need to get another night job. I have a really low tolerance for boredom. Combined with my time perception issues, it's not good.

Just remember bitches ain't shit but hos and tricks. That was a doctor's assessment, so you know it's true.

And aren't night jobs notorious for being boring? Unless you're like, a Quik-e-mart clerk, cuz then you at least get methheads offering you handies for lighters and shit.

Also, what the fuck is up with the ending of Twilight? Like seriously? "It was all a dream, lol" Then they fucked in a field of flowers, and oh look it was all in a book.

Bleh, Steam fucked up on my so I had to reinstall. Lost all my installed games.

Luckily all my saves and mods were on another Hard drive. I might take the opportunity to set up and add another SSD to my rig.

I like working. Hopefully I get a bartending job or something like that.

It's really hitting me that I'm not going to have another relationship with anyone. There's just something missing in me that I think will forever prevent me from being with someone for the long run. I can't understand people on some level, and I always thought that that didn't matter, because people should be able to work past that. But now I think I just can't really coexist in the way that I want to with people. When people get upset or angry or offended, most of the time I can't really understand why. I also can't understand why people are uncertain about what they want, or who they are, or why people lie, or think things that don't make any sense. And, every person I'm with demands to be understood while at the same time making no effort to understand me.

Hmmm. You're not alone feeling like that, dude. I've felt like that most of my life, simply because the things that make me who I am probably seem totally contradictory to most people. I've been in just a couple serious kinds of relationships, and every time it felt like I was giving too much of myself, compromising too much of my personality. I always see that more clearly after it's over. So now, I'm just going to do and be what makes me happy, and if someone else wants to join, then cool. I wouldn't give up all hope entirely. Then again, if you do that, and end up on the road to self-satisfaction, instead of looking for people to fill needs/desires in your life, there stands a chance that you'll meet someone you really do click with. As least that's what I'm hoping for..... maybe we're in the same situation, which might be that we've both been looking for the wrong people. At least, I'm thinking that more and more these days

i have to find somewhere to live sooner rather than later, and since i don't have time to save up for an apartment that means i have to look for a roommate situation, which scares the crap out of me. i'm afraid of other humans, and am a terrible judge of character.

Ugh. That's the worst. I had my first one just a few months ago. It put me out of commission for like a day and a half. I had my second one last week. It wasn't as bad, but still terrible.

Not even noon yet and I'm about to go into my second company meeting of the day.

That's adorable. :)*

Now you know how I feel most days. The advantage is when I'm sick, I just assume it's that I'm hungover and truck through it. Seriously, the best thing for a hangover is being semi-active rather than just stewing in it.

Yes, it was good times...waking up, throwing up a few more times and going to a new job moving pianos and antique furniture. Couldn't even hold down water until that afternoon.
GOOD TIMES INDEED

What's worse is I bet they don't even actually take your advice. Happens to me constantly.
