Arg. My ten year old desktop finally died... and, no, I didn't back anything up. Like an idiot. All of my fucking personal recording files are on there, as well as tons of old photos and mp3s of projects that were never going to see the light of day but meant a lot to me. I'm hoping that the files can be recovered. But until then, I won't be making much progress on the next few Crotchthrottle releases. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckiddy fuck. And today was going to be my day off from obligations so I could get some recording done. Guess that plan's fucked to hell.

Thanks man. Just gotta breathe and let it go. Got an appt to have it checked on Tuesday. It's so old, I highly doubt that they'll be able to do anything with it there. Just gotta remind myself that I'm not on any external deadline, and it'll all get done. Or it won't, and I'll just start fresh.

well, today turned from a triumph into a fail with a jolt. i went to an employment agency where they were really enthusiastic and had food-industry jobs out the wazoo, but then i had to take the piss test. i'm trying to blag my way around the positive THC result by using the "i was using medical marijuana until i got here a month ago" gambit, but if that doesn't work i have to come back in 90 days. the police-state mentality of the 21st century is becoming more than a little unnerving.

I am mad about my shitty wrist joints and beat up hands. Working so much with my hands is taking a toll already and im not even old yet. It also hampers my efforts to get buff because, they fucking hurt and crack and pop when I do anything.
