Fixed, thanks Chank!
As i said, i was really tired last night.. :trippy:

With this video i've covered probably not even half of what the Virus can do. For a two-knobber It has A LOT of different tricks up his sleeve, as different combinations of volume and gain led to big changes in its reactivity and, most of all, in what the Bias footswitch emphasizes.
The Bias fs is one of the most surprising features in it: in every mode and combination it adds a huge variety of colors without ever losing volume or fundamental frequencies --> AKA perfect device for live shows (when they will be a thing again :( ).
I haven't tried it with bass, but i bet it shines there too, especially in Mode 1: it's soo fat and juicy, and with a downtuned guitar throws you in the riff-filled land.

Sorry/not sorry for the amount of stoner/doom/bluesy riffs, it's the pedal that calls for them. :trippy:

It's the first time i try to shoot a demo with a camera, audio interface etc, and doing it on the floor with an improvised setup was probably not the best way to do it. I had some problems with space and cables so the guitars were tuned by ear: now that i listen back to it it sounds pretty obvious and awful, especially when i hit the g string on the strat. :erm: :erm:

That last part with the gain stacking was really nice though. :doom:

dude awesome
great demo all around that just kept getting better - especially enjoyed the awesome way it responds to over-gaining when stacked and agree - Mode 1 brings the mo to the jo on bass - hits that magic sweet spot between BIGness, rat-ified bite and a sweet hint of synthiness when you really dig in....

Thanks for airing it out - virus will spread

thanks everybody
i think the Virus is awesome and super-versatile, honestly it exceeded my expectations.

It's impressive how it reacts to previous gain stages: I didn't have time to film it, but I tried a few kinds of pedals before it. With a muff it gets absolutely blown out sounds, with a mid gain drive it adds bass and grit..

For what is worth i think i could easily cover all the gain i need in a heavy band using a combination of single coils, Mode 2 and just a volume boost before it as in the video. Or i could also unleash the gain and do it with just humbuckers and Mode 3. I dunno, sooo many possibilities!

Can't wait to have Haxan here and shoot a video of it too. :snax:

The guitar is so out of tune in that part that it hurts my ears, but yeah, couldn't resist throwing in some SP riffs. :)
