I wonder where you got the name from.
Great stuff. I'd love to make stuff like that eventually.

Thanks...the name is a long story which we blame on our bass player..in short we needed a name for the show flyer and were running out of time and ideas. we went with it thinking we would change it after the first show, now it is four years later and we are stuck with it. We've been trying to shake the Godspeed comparisons ever since, hopefully our forthcoming record will do the trick.

Alright, so I'm double posting but again it's not my music, it's actually my female drummer's band. They're really fun and poppy and I think some of you'll dig it.

, as im a Metalhead

.
all stuff was done in a single track/take, by feeding my new cheap, budget keyboard through my pedalboard (you can hear the keyboard onits on at the end of the OCD track (think the drums from BHG's "lapdance is better when the stripper is crying" song

What are you and Tristan doing?
Sort of a surfy, gritty, electronic thingy.
We'll post some music hopefully sometime in the next 2 months.
I don't need all my stuff just yet, I'm still waiting for my Alesis Micron and Tristan is still shopping around for a good drum machine.
I play guitar and sing and Tristan plays synths and sings. I know you don't like him, but fuck that guy can rock the shit out of keys.
God your band is FUCKING AWESOME. Have i told you how FUCKING AWESOME you guys are? Youre FUCKING AWESOME.

Look what I just pulled out of my ass this afternoon. It's kind of weird. I'm not sure I can even figure out what the time signature is. There's arpeggiated synths from a Roland Juno-6 emulator I just downloaded, hacked up bass samples, reverb-drenched Les Paul, acoustic 12-string (natch), breakbeats, and a doubled lead on the Roland SH-2000 buried in the background. It sounds like
Achtung Baby era U2 crossed with
Yoshimi era Flaming Lips, remixed by the Chemical Brothers and produced by a rhesus monkey high on angel dust. And it's very very happy sounding.
