what a lovely day. after getting to sleep at 4:30, i was awakened at 9...the alcoholic guy who lives around the corner and who's one of Doug's projects stood outside the open window yelling "Bob, can i talk to you for a minute?" in the wheedling voice he uses when he's trying to beg a beer or some money off me, to which i replied "NOI, I'M BARELY AWAKE." mai boundareez, let me show you them.
still no word on the job, so i'm going to start packing the truck tonight. i'll give them a couple more days, then call the agency and tell them, in the immortal words of my Mom, to shit or get off the pot.
i forgot to mention that i appear to have lost my reading glasses, which are way too expensive to replace. on the other hand, i put locking tuners on the Japanese project guitar to replace the horrible six-on-a-plate originals and it's actually tuneable now without extreme cruelty. see, i try to keep teh PMAz...but after all, this is the thread to bitch in.

My boss at the restaurant schedules me to work when I work over at the record store and then doesn't change the schedule so I can still have the same number of shifts, which has been getting smaller and smaller. I tell him almost ever day when I'm at the restaurant what my hours are at the record store or he'll actually ask me, he still hasn't put that in his calendar or written it down. I was doing 6 shifts a week at the high and last week I worked one 3 hour shift, what the fuck. This week he gives me two, I can only do one, and he doesn't even say anything like "I'll see what I can do" or "I'll try and get you in more shifts next week."
I'm not being encouraged by his actions to do my best at work for him.

Drove all week for work
Had shitty work, got shorted on per diems
Paycheck was late and almost $200 short
My bank wouldn't cash or clear funds of the check as my account is slightly overdrawn, had to go to BOAmerica and pay a fee to get my money
Homey didn't have jam space rent so I had to float it
Couldn't afford to go see Animals As Leaders, Dillinger Escape Plan, Cattle Decapitation, and Revocation
Forgot to go back to my bank to deposit money to cover overdraft and impending Paypal re-charge, lost another $30
Am broke again and did not accomplish half of what I had planned to do with that paycheck.
On the bright side, my car is gonna receive a bunch of maintenance as it's hit the 200,000 mile mark.
