I think there is a demo of that specific guitar on YouTube. It's demoing a Science Amplification amp.

Is it me or did the guy seem a bit... airy fairy? Maybe he's the type to just buy cool gear and then not know what to do with it? I'm not takin' a jab or anything. I say it all in jest. :p

Yeah that's the one from a few months back, guy played it thru a Science Hellhawk. Price is pretty fair considering the custom nature of that instrument and fact that it's practically brand new.

That's one of my favourite EGC designs and colours. I think if I had the money I would order a Series 2 in a very dark gloss navy blue or gloss black with P90 pickups and a thin neck, and a Chessie in Antique White.

So does anyone have any idea how much one of those new Travis Beans will set you back? I'm hoping they won't be nearly as pricey as the revised EGCs, but that seems naive.

Isn't that like more than a real Travis Bean? Even if it isn't, fucking ridiculous.

Those Beans from the '97 design were priced around $6800 and the EGC built versions are the same. It is crazy but I'm sure there's people out there that will gladly pay it. One reason for cost is construction of the neck and back pan. The entire rear is all a single piece of aluminum on the Beans.

By the way, on the topic of wait times...
The wait time for most Rickenbacker instruments is 9-24 months. Mind you, they are much cheaper, but still.
My 620 was a 9-12 month wait time, and a 4003 is a 12-24 month wait time. Crazy!

You're shitting me. I'd just get 3 EGCs.
