if it's a problem i'll try to do my best, but i'm really late this time..
I downloaded the samples and went through all of them in the last week while on vacation (some gooood stuff here - excellent job as always fam), but i still have to start the assembling/mangling phase, and think that i won't be able to turn on my pc again at least until next week.
Also last week i took some pictures that might be suitable for an Okta artwork, so i want to jump on that too and come up with another option.

I don't have a problem with that.
I note that there's a Bandcamp No-Fee Friday on October 2, 2020, so what if we aimed to make that the release date?
Ideally, things get in enough before that so that the album can be prepped/uploaded/double-checked with time to spare.
Sound good to all?
I've got a nice cool night, so I might just open up Audacity and start sliding around by treated source-bits and see what aligns.

Sounds good to me! I just downloaded all the files yesterday (?) and listened to like half of them while taking a few notes today. I have some ideas for sure! Nothing really holding be back other than procrastination, but would still appreciate the extra time

Sooo... last night pulled all my treated stuff into Audacity and started sliding things around... and things fell together into something interesting! It gave me one more weird processing idea, so I futzed around with that, and then... I do believe my track is done!

Nice !
I just searched in Discogs, apparently Volume 1 is not referenced yet, I'll try to find some time to encode it, and also Volume 2 when it's available.

Such great samples in your folders y'all!
I started futzing around on the iPad with some nice results but no clear plan how to put things together,
but I'm finally on a laptop again:)
so since yesterday there's a first ruff arrangement,
I think I got a nice mix of mangling & letting the samples stand for themselves
Here's hoping I'll manage to flesh it out and mix it down on time
so I can be in this time...

Also, new idea, more related to the meaning of Okta i think?

I like that cover! I will definitely try to make myself do some stuff this weekend. I might put the samples on in the background while I work tomorrow...

Yeah I hope to put some work in this weekend as well. Still haven't listened to all the samples, but I like the idea of putting them on in the background while I work.

Made some really good progression on this. I have chosen the samples, modified some of those and got the rough track structure and feel layed down. Now it’s time to add more layers, but the main idea is there.
I feel like I won't use any of my samples but I also want to record something new to pair a melodic line.
C’mon cbs, Mr.Nov and Aedes, you can doooooeeeeeit!
