I'm super happy with my peavey rockmaster. Can be had for under 300 (check the BST now) and they are pretty damn loud. Nice and grunty by itself with the gain up and it takes fuzz pedals nicely too. Can't recommend it enough.

not too bad but that's about the going rate, maybe a little over what they are going for.

Concert is a step up from Beta right? I'm not really across the SS stuff.

not if you are talking about using it as a guitar rig. Beta is always more desirable. I personally love the concert lead... red faces more than the betas... but if you are talking silver face concert lead... not nearly as much.

The concert bass as a guitar rig is kinda useless. It just doesn't work out as well.

If this was directed at me, I grabbed Corey's for $400. Been loving the shit out of it since I got it. Might cop a Beta Lead and run them stereo at some point.

So the Silver Face is not really worth the effort? Putting together my first Doom rig and just curious.

I think I can pick up a Peavey JSX for $200. Not sure if I want to but Peavey, tubes, 120w and $200 all seem okay. It's the JSX part that scares me.
