Hey so, last Thursday, I asked this girl if she'd like to go get coffee with me sometime.
She said yes, which is really cool.
I have her number and we texted a bit.
Thursday, she said she'd "keep me posted" on the day that would be good for her to meet up this week.

So now it's Monday.
Should I text this girl and see when she would be down to hang out?
She did say she would let me know, but at the same time I want to know now.
Also I just want to talk to her.
But also I don't want to come on too strongly or whatever.

Fuck I'm already way overthinking this.

Its cool man, overthinkng happens. I dont see the harm in sending one text asking if she's still down to hang.

My rule is to get in touch with someone twice about getting together. If they haven't given you an answer after that leave it alone. If they want to hang out, they'll get back to you.

My rule is to get in touch with someone twice about getting together. If they haven't given you an answer after that leave it alone. If they want to hang out, they'll get back to you.

That sounds like a good rule.

She had told me about how she was going out of town last weekend.
Should I text her on the premise of asking how that went, or should I just be straight up and ask if she wants to meet still?

If you end up hanging out with her, it could be more stuff to converse about.... I try not to get into those long text-conversations that some people do, because the time apart will make the time together better. Asking her how it was shouldn't be a big deal in my opinion.

Also, go running or grab some instruments and play or ur bike, just keep yourself distracted when you find you're overthink stuff. Overthinking is just a habit, break it if it doesn't suit you.

I usually use the internet and sms communication only for meeting up previous to courting. After that you have to feel the vibes, check out her pupils (big ones means she finds you attractive). Anyway good luck bro!
