I have a deck that runs this guy and I call him Sphinx of Bela Lugosi whenever I play him. When he dies I sing "Bela Lugosi is Dead". I got a laugh out of it... once.

Putting this here instead of the happiness or rage threads, because I'm not stoked about it, and it's not really something to be complaining about. I started seeing this girl I work with, and we're trying to keep it a secret until she can transfer or something. Meanwhile, I'm getting the feeling that another girl I work with is maybe starting to come on to me...... I haven't figured out how to say "no" to the new one if it comes to that, and what reason I'll give.

My years go by in a strange way. NOTHING happens for 80% of the year, and then once or twice, everything happens all at once.

I actually want Occulus Rift to succeed because poor people being kept docile by brain drugs administered via VR headsets is a staple of cyber punk and we're running behind schedule for most of the old cyber punk predictions from the 80s. I was a bit worried that the "Asians take over the world" prediction wouldn't come true when Japan's economy crashed but China really picked up the slack and holy shit, are they coming a lot closer to creating a Blade Runner society than Japan ever did

Man, I had a class with this girl like 2 years ago.
Since then, I have run into her all over the place, but never spent any time with her since we had a class together.
I see her sometimes after my Tuesday/Thursday class and I really want to ask her out for coffee.
I almost did on Thursday but chickened out last second.
I'm really hoping I pass by her tomorrow because I think I finally have the courage to try.

Biggest problem (aside from actually happening to run into her and actually having the balls to ask her out):
I can't, for the life of me, recall her name.
