Really sorry to hear that, man. I've been through that a few times and it is terrible.

Fucking email chains at work. Person's last day is Friday and people want to go out for a happy hour. 15 replies by the same 3 people saying stupid shit in 6 minutes.

I have a ton of "straight to the garbage" filters in my outlook for just this sort of thing. I don't fucking care about your sports drive or petty office wide reminders or summer picnics. Fuck you.

I have to break up with my gf tonight. She's been intensely negative the past few months and periodically we have to have a discussion about how much of a strain it is on our relationship, and each time she recognizes that it's a problem but doesn't seem ready/willing to really change anything. She's very depressed and I've been trying to get her to address her problems with her therapist or find a new one but she hasn't. Maybe it's too great of an expectation for me to put on a person. This sucks because I love her very much and I don't want the relationship to end, but I'm afraid it's taking a toll on my own mental health. I feel sick to my stomach about it.

So this new person at work keeps fucking up, and my boss like refuses to just take it up with her. He brings up the issues to both of us together even though none of them have anything to do with me. I'm just sitting there like... the fuck am I doing here?...

that's exactly how my last relationship went. it's an unfair expectation for you to put up with your partner if they are not willing to take action to solve their problems, it seems like you've tried to help but realize that it's her responsibility to get herself together and not yours. only she can solve her personal struggles. it's wrong for someone else to make their problems your own, and it's not good to be in a relationship like that. it sucks that your relationship will end for that reason, but it would suck even more to continue into a dead end road. I am much happier without her now and I'm sure you could be too.

my family put one of our cats to sleep today. poor guy had liver cancer and was slowly dying over the last week or so. I cried uncontrollably today while he was meowing from pain. ugh it was so hard. I'm glad we could give him a peaceful death. it was a very sad time, he was an amazing animal.

Sad to hear mate. It sucks to know they are suffering in pain and there isn't much that can be done to help them feel better. Keep strong dude.

Jesus Fucking Christ I'm stuck in the bathroom at work with no toilet paper. Fuck.

Also, pretty sure I broke my thumb the other day. So my 3 new pedals will remain un-played for a bit longer.
