With the right settings and momentary mode engaged, can it do a 'manual' flange, like the as-of-yet-unreleased Cbread Zero Point? This would be very neat.

I think I know what you're asking. like all my pedals... if you plug an expression pedal (and don't select it to control any parameters) it just controls the effect manually.

This was Dandolin's idea on The Gear Page a long while back. It was a brilliant idea so I've incorporated it into all my pedals. In fact, I even named the variables after him in my code. I was hanging out with Knobs last week and showed the code to him. He got a kick out of it. KNOBS.

Similarly, you could set the expression to control the "zero" knob manually and then have modushape doing it's thing on the other line. I've been enjoying that.

There are some really cool sounds in there, it just can be finicky to dial in and I want it to be really intuitive and fun. Premier Guitar came by at the NAMM show and we played with it for a little bit with a EQD Bit Commander in front of it, not sure when that video will come out, but that will likely be the only video of it until I really finish it.

To clarify what I meant: can you disable the LFO and have static flange at any point in the sweep? Is that what happens when you plug an unassigned expression pedal in?

Pretty awesome that dandolin's thoughts are in those boxes, Joel. So neat that your pedals reflect some of the users instead of being developed in a vaccuum. Really think that sets you apart from other builders.

I have the WV MkII... my favorite sound is in your right preset... and I'm not really using all the other functions much so it's kind of overkill for me.

Yep. You can just sweep the flange manually and set it wherever you like. With that and the "zero" knob, you have static control over two delay lines.

Thanks! When I started I didn't know it'd be like this, but I really do think it's been a collaborative effort with my pedals. I've gotten lots of great ideas from users, so I feel like the lucky one.

I've certainly thought about it, but I just don't see myself ever doing dumbed down versions. What I find is that everyone's favorite stuff is different, and that's the whole point of making the pedals be able to do everything. Your favorite might be boring to someone else... and someone else's favorite might not sound good to you. I think the trick, with my pedals, is not worry about what they are capable of. 99% of it you are never going to use. But in that 1% you might find something very special that nobody else has come up with yet. And that's yours, so save that in a preset.

In short, don't worry at all about using everything. Just find a few things you like, and store them in the presets. Then, if you are bored one day, play with the pedal some more and find some other cool things. I think there is this tendency to feel like you need to use everything for something to be "worth it." I get caught up in it too. I own the Empress Superdelay. LOVE it. I just use the reverse modes and tape modes. That's it, so I think "oh that'd be cool if they made a pedal that just did that stuff that *I* like" but there's probably some other dude that just uses another mode and thinks the same thing.

Excellent answer. Love my Gravitas, but both my presets are standard+harmonic trem. It's what I love the most about it and it's the reason I had for getting one, and it's so yummy!

Yeah! I understand your point. I also have the Superdelay... but it worth every penny because I use all it's features (except the tap function).
On the other hand, I sold a Moog MF104M because to me it was too much money invest for what I was doing with it. Even if it was a killer sounding pedal.
