On the less expensive side... I just got the SubDecay Starlight Flanger MkII and it is really awesome. I'm impressed. :joy:

I'd also think that if a flanger has six knobs, one of 'em'd be for delay time. :snax:

Joel? :summon:

I thought 'shift' on the lower right was the manual/delay time knob? i'm certain he wouldn't skip a delay time knob, 'shift' is a less common term for it than 'manual' but i'm pretty sure it's the same thing/

I doubt it... this knob is for the modushape.

Maybe? I thought the "shift" had something to do with the offset of the wave shape. (Yeah, what Syl said.)

Delay time may be a secondary function accessible via DIP switch? :idk:

do you mean horizontal or vertical offset? because vertical offset of the waveshape is what a delay time knob does in this instance (the waveform represents delay time modulation so you use the 2 knobs to set the center point and width of the waveform in relation to delay time). i wouldn't think it would be horizontal offset unless there were two LFO's.

IDK. What exactly does the Warp/Sway/Form knob do on the other Chase Bliss pedals?

You may be correct, backwardsvoyager. I'm not sure.

So, I'm sensing a trend here.

If there's no control over delay time, that'd be a deal breaker for me.

Well hello there. In a "through zero" flanger, there are two delay lines necessary to achieve the context where through zero flanging occurs. One of those is controlled by the modushape LFO, as you would expect. The other delay line is controlled by the "Zero" knob there in the top/middle. So that can act as a "manual" knob *OR* if you modulate or ramp that knob... you have two modulated delay lines providing pseudo random through zero flanging. As expected, it sounds insane and awesome.

With the right settings and momentary mode engaged, can it do a 'manual' flange, like the as-of-yet-unreleased Cbread Zero Point? This would be very neat.
