In: Lastgasp Super Oscillo Fuzz 88

It's pretty fun, but after an hour or two of playing I'm having a hell of a time figuring out some usable settings. Time to watch the UG and Eivind demos over and over to steal ideas!

My go-to setting is switches 1, 5 and 6 up. Sounds glorious, and lets you drift in and out of oscillations easily. You'll need to get the EV-5 expression pedlol to get the most out of it, IMO. Any spesific kinds of sounds you're after? Honestly I've found that with some tweaking I can get almost any sound I want out of it (the sounds I want may not be what you want etc. though).

Speaking of different scale sizes, I recently bought the guitar in this video (airline tuxedo) based simply on the fact that the playing and fuzz sound in the second half of this video kicked so much ass. Plus I kind of wanted a hollow body. I did not realize that it was a small scale guitar, since seemingly the dude in the video is some kind of elf. This guitar is so much fun to play, despite costing me less then $600. Bonded with it almost immediately, and it is so comfortable and feeds back in such musical way that it has become a big part of my sound. Love it.

I'm looking for weird and chaotic. I found some nice arpeggiatting decays while tweaking, but my notes seem to sustain way too long before they dissolve. I'm thinking you're right on the expression pedal. That seems to be the key to really unlocking the pedal. Especially since I have a Ct5 coming soon enough, and I'm going to want it for that.

yeah...all of the lastgasp pedals really benefit from using an expression pedal to get the most out of them. Experimentation is the best advice Congrats on getting one of the best oscillating fuzz ever made
