It just doesn't have random or the depth preset mod (I think that's what some v3s have). It is smaller too. No big deal, man. haha.

I dunno, I just don't think I like trem that much, thought i did, but I guess I don't.

Maybe you want a univibe instead? Less chop, more throb?

Maybe someday haha. I think cyber psychic will do for now and I will wait for what LAL and Mu-Fx come up with. And the gristleizer.

I haven't tried a uni-vibe since I had my cheap korg tone works back in the day (and it was probably a bad emulation). Good suggestion though, I will look into it. Trying new stuff is fun. haha.

Gristleizer is pretty great. Just a wacky modulation machine.

I love trem though. Real choppy squarewave trem is so fun. Reverb into fuzz into trem is pretty awesome too.

If you can't find that pcb the ear tabletop kit is very reasonably priced and it includes everything. You get the cv in/out options going that route. Plus I think it just sounds better than the musicpcb version.

I was thinking about that when you got yours actually. I actually want the amp/table top one. haha. I found the pcb though, but I might integrate it into something or attempt some mods on it. I dunno. Hmm, might do that soon.

Dang it, I just fried my MF102. stupid 24v power adapter that looks exactly the same as the 9v one (never in 20 years of gear have I done that). Oh well, Sick Pitch King, you're up (and sound better anyway). My freakin' brain hurts, man. It's like slow motion.

Yeah, shit man. I lent a Super Fatman to someone once and it came back semi-fried-it was clipping the input all the time; it was fixable though. Hopefully the 102 can be repaired without too much hassle/cost....

haha, it's just another project  . It'll be ok. Gots tons of ring mods (almost as many as fuzzes).

- Metasonix TM-1 (second version) has tons of bleed with the carrier turned up. Works better with higher output (line) instruments. Don't have it anymore
- Metasonix TM-1 (first version with switch of CO) has less than the second, but it is still there. I feel like it works better for guitar.
- Lastgasp Sick Pitch King - mine has bleed but UG's doesn't. No blend but I didn't notice any noise out of the direct output. It's the most harsh and loud (outside of the metasonix but that one has that waveshaper thing, and this one is more useful).
- Lastgasp Sick Pitch King Jr. - There is a slight volume drop and it is a little noisy when the osc gate is on. It sounds good but it doesn't peirce like the og one. No volume, just blend.
- Copilot Planetoid 4-knob - kinda the most round sounding to me of all of them. It was the least harsh out of all of them. It also seemed to be really quiet(noise wise, not volume).
- EHX Frequency Analyzer (40v 2000s model big box) - it's noisy and always has sound except when bypasses (pretty quiet there) but it's one of my favorite sounding ones.
- Carlin Ring Mod - haven't built it yet, but will report when I do (I think you have to supply the CO though)
- Moog MF-102 - It was the cleanest sounding while still being harsh (other than the copilot). It was pretty quiet and awesome. I don't remember the LFO making any noise either, but I usually had that off.

The Metasonix has the most noise and bleed followed by the SPK and then the EHX FA. Copilot and Moog are the quietest. I usually run fuzz before ring mod and rarely play clean through them (ehx and spk sound the best when I do though, to me)

I also use Raptio in the LAL 46 for some neat ring mod-like effects sometimes. The "Ring Mod" on the Crystal Dagger is just a fast phaser and sounds dead. Same with the Infanem Faye Sing on really fast.

I swear I have another one somewheres...I'll think of it, haha.
