I'm fucking loving how it sounds, the kind that makes me want to riff endlessly it'd be perfect if there was some lows in there. anybuddy know if it's based on anything? should have tried this way sooner. cheap as hell, too! it's also stupidly loud. just the way I like it

The lows were an issue for me too. It would be awesome with a blend, especially for the octave settings.

It's got such a good texture. So brash and gnarly.

Just wish it had a bit more bass.

that's funny I was thinking about to buy that rattle crow too because it was in better shape than the one I have but...mine works fine. I'm taking my nieces/nephew swimming today so I won't get a chance to play with the 86 till later today...when I also expect the old one to arrive in the mail. Its a doomy big muff. The kids love making noise with my gear so maybe I'll record them playing

I was always on the search for slightly overdriven sounds for bass. Mild and tube-like. The ODB-3 is what I don't like at all. I have a few fuzzes and distortions that sound great with bass, but I always wanted something that's more subtle.
