My neighbors were moving out and threw a bunch of perfectly good stuff, including some drum shit. The one guy I asked said it was broken, but I knew as soon as I picked it up it just needed some tightening, and voila--I know own 1/10 of a drum set!

Dba reverb machine is awesome! You should check out the silver jews, that's the album art for American Water. They are/were on drag city.
Incredible album! One of my favourites.
Todays GAS is for one of them Eastwood Warren Ellis Tenor Guitars. Especially the two pickup version.
I listened to American Water a couple times last week, I had just seen a homeless dude that was very Smith & Jones and he put me in the mood. Great record!

damn... impressive haul. i kinda gave up on finding a reasonable priced DC-2 so i've just been bidding close to market value, they don't pop up too often here so you're bound to be paying 300-350.. hope it's worth it.
i might be interested in a dc-3 and/or that moving box if they're going in the store, depends on price vs. importing one myself i guess.

yeh i've been finding them for under $300 but still not cheap enough to make it worth my while. i get them pretty cheap so shoot me a PM/email/just yell really loud out the window if you want one.
i usually cut decent deals for Ultimate Guitar / ILF members and locals and you're both!

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
Haven't posted in a while, since I've had a 6 day drinking spree combined with being totally uninterested in almost anything. I've sold some shit, my stereo Jamman, Wampler leviathan, EHX knockout and my DBA echo dream 2. But when looking for what I want to buy for it I literally haven't found anything interesting. This could mean that I'm super happy with my setup, or that I'm just unable to be exited. Anyway, today I'm picking up a WMD Geiger counter I found used at a decent price. Mostly just because.
TL:DR:
Out:
Digitech stereo Jamman
Wampler leviathan
EHX knockout
DBA echo dream 2

That's rough, buddy! Try travelling or finding some other hobby other than drinking though. Probably the worst way of dealing with sadness is getting intoxicated and becoming someone you're not going to be in everyday life. Face the music etc. My $0.02.
Hang in there and the GAS will return!

^Good advice here. The drinking isn't the answer. Like Casanova said, find a hobby to take your mind off things. Take up a new instrument. Something different like a tuba or vibraphone or just something that you always wanted to play but never got around to it. My dream instrument to start playing would be the baritone sax. Though I do play an awesome air sax.
Keep your chin up dude and your powder dry

Thanks guys, I know it isn't the answer and I hadn't planned to do it, it just kinda happened. I just finished the semester and work doesn't start in a few days, so soon I'll be having stuff to do in the evenings. I don't get how people make great music when they are sad though. It just sounds like shit to me

It's more just about the doing than sounding good doing it. Sometimes also the sound quality is more about your state of mind and mood. Just keep plugging away and don't worry about sounding good. Takes your mind off feeling bad.

There is a DC-2 on Reverb for $200. It's beat to shit, but still.
