Yeah. So is Mantar. Really pumped for this show. Has anyone seen Conan on this tour yet?

Sadly, no.
(I haven't actually listened to Conan yet. Don't tell the cool kids).

I mean I'll more than happily fix that if someone hits me up with a tasty link, but there's so many fucking 70's occult boobs bands these days that I sort of stick to my established favorites and let you guys inform me about the good shit.

Holy shit... Time to get that done. Conan is awesome. That's my favorite type of music, where the drummer is going apeshit and the guitar player is chillin out on some sweet riffs.
Start with Battle in the Swamp or Hawk as Weapon. Turn it up loud tho.

Samothrace was so fucking good the other night. Conan were heavy as hell, but Samothrace is just one of those bands that I could watch forever. So damn good (and good peoples, too). Mantar put on a helluva show, but weren't my thing at all.

That Conan track is all right. I usually prefer my doom on the more sprawling/less focused end, but that's a taste thing.

First Conan song I heard was the split with Bongripper. It's a little more sprawling and open for ya DoS.

I'm 100% with you. That said, they are pretty compelling live (all the amplification doesn't hurt). Pretty hard to not bang yer head while they play.

Yesh. This is more up my alley for sure, insofar as it reminds me of UFOMammut without the synths. Good stuff nonetheless, I just think I'm always going to be a little late to the party involving Conan. Would drive a couple hours to see them live, probably not preorder the album, you know?

I'm with ya on that for a lot of bands.

Think about it man. "Olga, who did this to you, who knocked you up?!!!"
"It was..... Odin"
uh huh................ Odin you say.................. SUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure it was.

Oh, yeah, that way, for sure. I was thinking like "hola compadres, estoy Odin [and I'm hear to bang all of you because Illuminati]!" would be fairly self-incriminatory.
No idea why Odin speaks elementary-school Spanish, but I'm rolling with it.
