Someone on TGP is trying to trade their Polytope for an Afterneath. If you don't like it, I would hit that up.

I would give it another day or two, and think about it more like a delay than a reverb. Might help the enjoyment a bit.

Otherwise, trade for that damn Polytope. When I saw that it made me wish I hadn't sold it haha

Yeah, it's gonna get a few days and some playing / tweaking. I went and scanned through some demo videos on Youtube to see different settings that people used.

Would you believe I don't have a TGP account? oh well. :idk:

I want to buy it, but I really can't justify spending that much for a Dual LFO Mind Warp when the original ones were like $190. Maybe if they were like $250 or something :idk:

Well, I figured if I get it and like it more than the Mind Warp I already have, I can sell the old one. That way this wont have been a big financial kick in the balls for me.

The mind of and ILFer.

If I wasn't buying a synth today I'd probably jump on it, if you need to sell either Mind Warp I'm always game to help you out :thumb:

Thinking I'll try it out more to get ambient sounds and maybe see if I can wring any Superego-esque sounds out of it. Trying to use it like a reverb had me sad.

I haven't really wanted/needed that ambient wash sound though and the extreme length (and depending on mix, I guess, overpowering volume) of the ambient wash makes it a little annoying. It doesn't lose the trails when you toggle it off, so long settings take forever to fade… makes things feel muddy when it gets all mixed up together.

It's definitely going to open up a lot of options having two of those loopers going at the same time. Trying to think what I'm going to do, thinking of trying CT5 -> Particle -> CT5 first.
