Though lately it's only been one V2 can loaded with two EVM12L's below a pair of Governors. Love the cab, but pain in the ass to move. Finally got around to installing casters last night. Much better.

That is a neat idea! I've been meaning to pick one up especially since we may be playing in E standard most of the time.

Luckily I have the original dolly for the EV loaded cab. Stupidly heavy cab but I'm sure it will slay. Top cab I may make a dolly for or just put whatever casters I get my hands on.

Traded a 67 blackface Bassman, a MIM Tele and a few other things for up a 70s Hiwatt DR103. Also pictured Ampeg V4 and a 74 JMP Super Bass. Not pictured are all my other amps haha

Who needs curtains when you have amps like that?

Damn. DR103, V4 and a Super Bass? I could live with these for the rest of my life.
Gigged the Shiv today, and I'm beyond blown away. It's perfect. I can get every single tone in the entire world that I could ever want out of this thing. I used to hate amp gain until I played this head. Usually all of the amps that I've used that have had gainy characteristics have ended up fizzy sounding, or super scooped, or just lacking of character and life. But the Shiv is extremely dynamic. I've got the clean channel set up to be right on the edge of breakup, so when I play softly it's clean, but then if I really dig in it starts to break up. The dirty channel is set to have a decent amount of gain, but nothing that feedbacks or gets super crazy. Just a decent gain. I've got the Absence control rolled all the way down to roll off what normally would be shrill or fizzy sounding gain. I love that control. It's so useful. Hit either channel with my Klone and it's just MORE. Sends the clean channel it a nice overdrive, and sends the gain channel into a little bit of feedback/extra thick gain. I love it.
New cab day. It's a 2x12 70's Carlsbro loaded with a WGS ET65 & HM75. I wanted to swap the 4x12 below for a smaller cab, and didn't realise it's actually a bit bigger than the 4x12
