it seems to work pretty well but it could probably do well from a cleaning. do you know if that's something I could do myself?

Thats cool, sounds like it is going to be very interesting  I didn't see there was a gristleizer on ebay :grumpy: , i ordered a new table top version direct from EAR. I love the aesthetic of the pedal version, would have matched my ad4096  but a table top makes more sense for how I set up my gear.

I've actually wondered if the EAR site is actually functional? Seems like they aren't really active anymore. Been kinda wary of it.

I just realized it was in Paris which I guess is why I didn't see it again? It's still there but kinda expensive.

Hey, here is a question for you UG: how would you compare your gristeizer in vcf to the copilot gyroscope? I know they are different, just kind of wondering. From what I understand a the gristleizer is a more expressive/responsive maybe?

Maybe I will sell some more stuff and pick up that ear gristleizer (at least put an offer) if you say it's different/better than the musicpcb ones? I dunno.

I always want a poly 6 back in the day but I got the poly 600 instead. Pretty awesome find man.

I hope its active  they sure took my monies. i've kept an occasional eye on the site cause i've always secretly wanted the EAR version too and recently noticed that they updated to having the tabletop in stock or I would have bought one by now ;) If it falls through i'd jump on that one in France if its still available. I never really watch demos but i've been looking at a couple of the EAR and it certainly seems to have a different overall character from the clone I have. It almost seems less expressive sounding and not as bright, but its so hard to know when i'm just listening to a youtube video.

hmmmmm....i wouldn't say the gyroscope and gristleizer are very similar at all even though they both have multiple waveforms that's about where the similarities end...maybe? You can really fine tune the filter with the gyroscope whereas the gristleizer just has a depth knob that really affects the throbby-ness of the "tremolo". The gyroscope is pretty awesome pedal thats packed to the gills with features, with the goatkeeper lfo controlling the rate/speed it was almost possible to get tremoloish effect to the waveforms, but still not in the same ballpark as the gristleizer. If i weren't trying to cut back on pedal purchases I would grab the gyroscope in a flash, the trek too cause its so incredible sounding with an lfo controlling the pwm. But i'm showing some uncharacteristic restraint  Co-Pilot is on my radar big time though.

lol. There is a Acoustic bass head (model 220) with matching 2x15" cab in Sweden for 80€. Buuuut it's super far away and no sending  might be just as good. Ain't got space for more cabs

That price is absolutely insane for that. Especially because those Acoustic 2x15 sound absolutely killer. I'd drive multiple hours to pick something like that up for that big of a deal.

Ryansummits getting the Emperor back, Skip's getting the Verellen back.
Trading my 1x10 cab to get my 1x12 B Custom cab back to use live with my Science.
Been trying to stay PEDGE to pay things off. Been thinking of unloading a majority of my pedals since I really only need a tuner, reverb, and boost with the Science.
