YES! Were playing around with it earlier, running long delay times. Awesome decay and quasi-looping.

I wanted to try some more stuff in the distortion world, and the Hot Cake seemed like a good idea..

So I chanced upon this Hot Cake-alike built by Montreal Assemby on Reverb.com, waited a week to make a decision on it, and just pulled the trigger on purchasing it:

It's coming from Yukon Territory, Canada.. so it might take awhile in the mail to get here :idk:

that pedal will look RAD on my board though! :thumb:

Speaking of which, these came pretty late last night. Almost done flipping almost all my gear.

Still don't have a chance to really use anything. Ran basic tests and snuck off to jam on the positive this morning...noisy but works well with the beta lead. Then my dumpster came and back to tearing out plaster and floors. Droner on the mnp-2 sounds awesome.

Seriously, ILF is amazingly awesome. People looking out for each other.

Woah I've never seen a Multi Noise Processor out in the wild. I've always wanted to try one.

Oh cool, I didn't realize there was a whole run of the Montreal Assembly Positive (hotcake-like pedal) but just found it on the Montreal Assembly site. Really looking forward to the etched/engraved version that I just purchased.

This one is engraved too. It just has paint. Really happy with it (my first "overdrive" unless you count the infanem DN).

Been a crazy week getting the Maxon Tape Echo, Gomorrah, mnp2, possessed, osc03, CT5 and 669cv at almost the same time. I don't know where to start. Haha. I gotta stop this madness and be strong. Totally worth flipping all my old stuff though.

Unfortunately, it creates a need for a mixer. I guess I could use my old fostex 260 that's missing the belt. :idk:

Dude, Galvar, perfect fucking week. I envy you that multi noise processor so much right now. I need to hear you demo it into the Possessed into the Maxon tape echo. Pretty please.

I almost bought that one on ebay but the mnp2 came up. Had to choose it. The 669 CV is a strange one. For the 10 min I got to fiddle with it, it seems to like to have an inpout signal. For a noise machine there is kind of a lot to keep track of (oh did I flip that switch, that's why its not doing anything). The thrust seems to be some kind of feedback loop that builds off the mod switch and how long you keep it "on" and it freezes in place. There are some settings that do nothing? I could see it being amazing with all your CV gear controlling the switches with LFOs and stuff moving them in and out of sync. I'll do a full write up later.

Of course man. I feel inspired for the first time in a long time. It might be after the weekend because of...eh, I'll just say they are coming. Haha, I'll just say trying to remodel in LA kinda sucks.

Thats cool, sounds like it is going to be very interesting  I didn't see there was a gristleizer on ebay :grumpy: , i ordered a new table top version direct from EAR. I love the aesthetic of the pedal version, would have matched my ad4096  but a table top makes more sense for how I set up my gear.
