I shipped it with the tubes still in because I didn't know if he was comfortable putting them back in. I also packed it like it was headed for a war zone and was not concerned at all.

Fun Fact: The only time I have ever had a problem shipping or receiving an amp was when the tubes were pulled and all arrived broken. :idk:

I'm with MEC, I've only ever pulled tubes if requested, since I usually pack for nuclear war, and of the dozen or so amps I've shipped in the past five years, it was the smallest, lightest one that had a problem due to the builder securing the chassis with the shortest screws possible, so the tubes got smashed even though they had been pulled (cool story bro).

But as a former V4 owner, I dimly recall the standby noise, which is more like to be a capacitor I'd think?

Snap! Nice Neon! one of the most amazing bass friendly fuzzes I've ever had the pleasure to play. So over the top.

I wonder what's the hold up on my Freq~LSD? Gonna have to email Alan!

He said he's been having problems with his enclosures. I got lucky that he had a mag enclosure laying around. It was supposed to take 4-6 weeks and it barely took 3.

I'm so excited. I'm hoping this will be the huge synthy fuzz I've been looking for.
