I bought it from Analogue Haven. It's the only place that I was able to find one, new or used.

Does anyone know if their address is actually a retail establishment or just an office warehouse? I haven't had time to go drive over there. I'm like 5 miles from there (but if you know LA, that means up to two hours sometimes). Just curious, always thought it would be neat to wander around. Perfect Circuit is another one...I actually drove by there but it just looked like an office and a lot of the parking reserved.

5 miles in two hours! :picard: That would do my fucking head in. Is there a lot of road rage in L.A?

Try emailing them, they seem to be pretty on the ball about email. They emailed me about 15 minutes after my order to tell me it would ship soon.

Haha, I guess. The famous case of the dude throwing some lady's dog in road rage about 15 years ago was up in the bay area/san jose. I think LA people kind of accept it. There are certain areas you just don't go to at certain times. I know when I first moved here, I got all angry and confrontational when people would act like a-holes driving, but I got followed twice by groups of people and I stopped that. Two dudes pulled knives on me in the middle of Sunset in Los Felix. I grabbed my hammer (I was a plumber at the time) and was ready but they got scared by traffic or something. I'm from the country part of California and I had to learn it ain't worth it.

My wife used to work around Analogue Haven's location it would take her 15 minutes to get to work and around 1 hour to 1 and a half to get home but she knew short cuts. When Obama was here once it took 3 hours. She works 40 miles in the other direction now and the commute is about 50 min each way. Where UCLA is (Westwood) is the worst though.

We hit a wreck and traffic going 7 miles to downtown once on the freeway, couldn't exit and we were stuck for 2.5 hours. The bus though...talk about waiting 2 hours for the next one and then taking the 1.5 hour trip 13 mile in moderate traffic. That's the worst.

Speaking of cars, I'm kinda gassin' for an old El Camino.

And in great news....incoming from Japan: MASF Possessed, JMT Noisy Mic and preamp, Boss PS-2, and MASF OSC03.

I'll just run by there at off hours. No big deal.

I want an El Camino. Would have to pay a fortune to have one shipped out to Australia. Then spend a shitload more to have it converted to right hand drive. Just a pipe dream.

I got screwed on Vend. Rang the cops, sent them copies of the correspondence and they said they'd look into it. That was in October 2013. Got a letter yesterday saying the dude was convicted (he'd defrauded like 20 people amongst other things) and that I'd eventually get my money back plus interest. Random. But yay for Swedish police. Might be the first case they've ever solved.

Haha seriously? Well I'm calling the cops today. Might just look at it as an investment in the future. This guy wasn't on his first rodeo when it comes to fraud apparently. Check this thread as varning (Swedish only) http://ljudbojen.com/viewtopic.php?f=25 ... 38#p695438

Dude, that sucks balls.
(for non-Swedes it's basically about a guy who's sold the same, probably non-existent Fender Bassman to a couple of different people)
It's going to be a while before I get to see my cash - it has to go to the debt collectors (Kronofogden), at which point they'll discover the dude doesn't have any money, they'll get back to me, then I'll get in touch with my insurance company, who should theoretically sort it out. We'll see.

Ah shit I hope you get it soon. Oh well, I'm young and sooner or later this serial frauder will probably slip up. And then...

I got scammed on a video game when I young and I cried a lot and felt really dumb. I'm glad it was a video game, I still learned a lesson from it and only lost out on pixels
