I just pulled the trigger on a brand new FrantaBit direct from IE and a discounted Wombtone from Effekt Boutique... My wallet/sanity weeps, my board/creativity can't wait for their delivery!

Discounted. :)

Got Hypnodrones Supersonic Fuzz Gun in the mail today. Thing is crazy. Absolutely demented. Demo coming up tomorrow-ish.

I've been on the waiting list, but he said he was taking a break, so it might be a while.

I'm also not entirely convinced that I want a dirty reverb. I think I'd rather have a clean verb that can do weird stuff and then dirty it up with other pedals.

But if someone wants to loan me theirs, I won't object ;)

It is not dirty like the Dba verb. It can be completely clean in fact. And it does weird stuff. It even has a weird stuff switch! I fought the hype at first and got the Dba, found it cool but a bit noisy at all times. Got the rm-n1 off resincum in a trade and it pretty much instantly became my fave pedal. Not counting fuzz.

Man, I need a verb with a weird stuff switch...

incoming, a full copy of Windows 7. spent about six hours trying to bootstrap the oem Win 8 that shipped on my new laptop onto the replacement ssd drive, cloning drive to drive, different boot sector hacks people suggested...... then i remembered i fucking HATE Win 8. 7 is only about $80 for a new disc with the product key and all.

should be here tomorrow. WOOT.

Well I'll keep an eye out. I've been fighting the hype too.

I'm really stoked for the Descent though. Presets are really going to help keep my board functional and compact.

I'm wondering if I can get anything close to an Organizer tone with the octaves on it. Maybe full wet, +1/-1 octave, short decay time. Run that into some dirt. I can't wait to experiment.
