and my band just finished recording yesterday had a session to myself for noise/textures and ended up using a trogo 666 a bunch, including this shit would have been reaaal mean
playing out of town tonight so I won't be able to fuck with this for a couple of days - the tease is real
That Mountainking...still think about that and how slow I was to the punch haha. Curious to hear soemthing, see what you do with it. Awesome haul.

complete overkill for me, but have always wanted a Randall head
Randall actually makes some good stuff, they've made / make some real crap too though. I've never been a huge fan of their SS heads but I've also heard quite a few people coax some awesome tones out of them. For $200 its hard to go wrong. I've got an RD100H Diavlo tube head and love it, very different take on american high gain tones. It can definitely cut through a mix even with the gain on ten, and its got a built in boost!
yeah seems like a good deal was going to get one of those cheapie hotone vox heads but this seems pretty cool and solid state so low volume should sound good enough to practice on still has the line out I like I haven't been settled on an amp sound since I sold my plush 9 years ago it sucks to be in amp limbo all the time playing on a friggen spider at home does not help

In: Industrialectric Incinerator returned home today and the Interstellar Overdriver Deluxe showed up, too. Mmm, fuzz. Displaced a lot of smaller boxes.

I have to confess I'm proud as hell of that fact

On the RM-1N, are those the knobs that came with it or did you special order them or put them on yourself? I like them. I hate the knobs on my Industrial Electric pedals. I mean they look nice, but I really can't tell what they are set at very easily. The markings/indicators are too subtle and are too hard to read unless looking straight down at them. Maybe I should replace them or just stop whining altogether.

I am trying very hard to make room for the Arc Flash. The HF-2, CE-2(s), and TR-7 all ended up on the cutting room floor.

Strange Tales wrote:$225 for it. Considering the last one sold for $450 on there I'm super stoked to get it at that price. If the mod switch is fucked up, I can just drive over the Walt Whitman and hopefully Brian can fix it.
I saw this on the main page and clicked into it to read about it and I got the "sorry this listing has sold" message.
What exactly are the issues with this pedal? I heard there were some problems so I never really explored trying to buy one (I know they are out of production but I do see them pop up every now and then).

The modulation (to various degrees) alter the modulation even when bypassed (when the mod section is bypassed, not the entire pedal) and some have issues with it being very sensitive aka producing feedback even with the feedback-knob turned down.

So, what's the problem with that?

$450!!! You've got to be fucking kidding me! Man I gave someone a good deal. LOL

Soooo.... I might have bought a 1978 (as listed, but I think it might be an early 80s) DOD 250. Had a shootout against a reissue just be sure and there was no contest.

I don't see them for sale very often, I think the person who sold it just listed it that high for shits and giggles, and it actually ended up selling that quickly.
