PP2+ or one spot chain, unless I can use batteries in which case I'll use batteries. I unhook the power cables for the photos so they are less cluttered looking. I like having the pedals layed out in an arc in front of me, but when I pay live I have most pedals arranged on a tabletop.

Are you Nels Cline?

You're Sting.
I've decided that you're Sting, and I am right and no one can change my mind.
Please change your profile pic to Sting, thanks.

I'm sure it's been said before, but I think it'd be hilarious if UG actually is Will Oldham, and has been laughing to himself this whole time that we haven't figured it out already.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

diet coke death metal grunge so frigging good

Most of the time I drink caffeine free, I try to have only one caffeinated one a day in the morning. And I hope to get the "proper" DOD Death Metal and Grunge soon, but these work fine for now and I have other things to lust over first.

that strymon is awful expensive to hang off the desk like that

I've pushed things around a bit so it's not hanging off as much. With how hooked up everything is though, I figured it'd pretty much have to be pulled down or the desk would break to fall onto the floor (which is carpeted anyway), and I've got bigger problems if that happens.
goroth wrote:And a behringer hm-2 clone of I'm seeing things right.

Boss HM-2, you mean? I think I might have another Behringer clone of something close, but neither of those are like that. The Ultra Metal is the best of the 6 Behringer pedals I have, and the Ultra Distortion isn't bad either. 2 or 3 of them are absolute shit though, I wish I never bought them, but I forget which ones they are right now.

Also, UG, where did you get those Lovetone pedals from a while back? It was my impression that they're hard to find, or do you just have that many connections?

Albini doesn't give a fuck about all those hippy pedals.

Maybe that's what Albini wants you to believe? I thought UG was Dexter Romweber

I always see some for sale on eBay if you take a look, but the prices are pretty high these days.
