You will be able to find one used if you have time. Check what ever the Elektron Users forum is becoming [new forum] and Vintage Synth Explorer. They pop up locally every now and then for about $1200.

i've been looking locally but Australia is pretty crap for used gear. a new UW+ mkII i can get for 1950 AUD, i've only seen used non-UW mkII's for ~1100 which isn't really worth it.
thanks for the tip on the forums. i see plenty of the UW+ for sale in US and EU, the cheapest being 900 euros and 1050 USD which are about 1300 AUD but with shitty paypal exchange rate and shipping more like 1450, plus taking into account i won't have the right power adapter or local warranty i'm thinking i might just buy a new unit unless a used UW+ mkII shows up locally.

lol I posted it on an Ipad where it was automatically resized , I have modified it. The Warped Vinyl is seriously good, I have high hopes for its red sister.

I know! it's been a long time. Back in August, things were progressing nicely and suddenly shit happened: I had to find another job and my wife did not have a job either as she had gone back to university... A complete nightmare. Things kinda got back to normal before Xmas but updates depend on me building a few special boxes hence the lag. I'll get to it soon.

Is that a Micro VR? If so, how do you like it?

i think it sounds great
but its problems outweigh that

it isnt very loud
it clips so hard it sounds like someone being electrocuted
the limiter is way too slow and a total waste of time
and its so loud it sounds like a computer running windows 95

Not gonna lie, the way you described that makes it sound AWESOME.
(Except the not loud part)
