 that's probably about right for ghost effects pedals...but only 2 of them are pep boxes, i wanted one to keep at the house + this one has the external bias control which is mighty handy and it matches my warmjet in color so thats kinda cool too.

edit: i've got a tag board lunar incantation on its way to me too :joy:

Yeah I keep meaning to get a Warmjet. Gotta stop slacking. Unless I am misunderstanding something, I don't understand why the gain control is mounted internally by default instead of the outside which he says he can do. Why wouldn't someone want it on the outside? These are the things that keep me up at night.

Got one of those for the $60 closeout deal, and really digging it. Gotta try the patch trick now.

They're still doing the $60 DL-8 deal at Musician's Fiend, but delivery is scheduled for mid or late February. I've got a DigiDelay back ordered from early November at $40, also February delivery, I'm torn whether to let it ride or to call to try and upgrade the order to the Hardwire. I understand they behave a bit differently is why I haven't yet, in case I like some of the difference. Or is that just dumb?

I just got the last one of his current design. He's redoing it I think in a smaller format, slightly different controls. I kept waiting for one to show up on B/S/T and after I year I got impatient. This is definitely a favorite pedal. So many different tonz in one box.

There are two bias controls on the Warmjet that were internal on the original pedals but Ian made external in his first revisions of the design. The thing is, it's possible to mis-bias the pedal and make it sound horrible (or make no sound at all) when the controls are external. But it's also possible to make it sound AWESOME - super-gated and splatty. I love having them on the outside but YMMV.
I did a bunch of Warmjet clips messing with the bias controls a way back. You can find them here:

In risk of sounding like a fanboy, I freaking love the warm jet, and Ian is a pleasure to talk to. I have been plotting a Black Country build if no one posts a Jerms or Pigdog MKi, 1.5 for sale soon...
