Yeah, I've been close to buying the Burns double six a few times myself. One issue I have is that I hate tuning my 6 string guitars, I can only imagine how much I would hate tuning 12 strings.

i've got guitars with either set of those pickups and they both sound incredible I feel, maybe i like the gold foils a tad bit more. what i don't like is the placement of the pickup selectors sliders, on mine in the up position nearest to the strings they are "on" and its so easy to accidentally hit them when i'm strumming and turn off the pickups.....i flip-flopped the sliders so "down" was on now and problem solved. could just be on my guitar the sliders were old and easy to move :idk: but it was a real pain in the butt until i made the mod.
