fuck overdrive at the end of the chain, for the blown/pushed/"live loudness" speaker sound? I've had my eye on that thing
I've gotten so much mileage out of the dfx94. Really great tool. Yeah, that's the fuck. I hemmed and hawed for a long time because I have a mini and figured it would be similar. Totally different vibe, and nothing really gets that blown sound like that.
Duct tape is cheap. I cant remember where i got the Chickenheads from tho....i think i ordered them for my big muff way back when cause one of the guys from Boris had some on theres.

I derp'd apparently so I fixeded it.
Thought you were throwing me under the busssssssss.
Is the Randall the only amp you have with an FX loop? I can't remember. How are you feeling about the loop? I'm so used to everything out front...
ALSO.
DarkAxel -- that twin peaks black lodge pedal is awesome. What is it?
hahahahaha nah buddy I would never do that.
No the Naki has a loop as well, I'm big on them for high with delay. The loop on the Randall is bad ass, I ended up taking the Clean Boost out because it was slamming the FX return just a lil too hard but even with just the delay it sounds beast. It's nice having the delay unaffected by the amp EQ and having it in the loop allows me to use all the channels of the amp with out having to worry about how the delay works in front of them.

Good to see my headrush getting some love. Looks like it was made for that board man.
Dude its still one of my favorite delay pedals; the tap tempo, the selectable digi / tape delays, and the looper? But the big thing is that it loves high gain and dirt, it still keeps clarity with out getting lost not matter what I throw at it which is a huge thing to me.

Skip, you rule. You hate people so much, you're willing to discredit all human progress, its awesome.
weed_killer wrote:is the v1 headrush significantly different from the v2? I need another delay like a hole in my head, but I've always been interested in them.
There's a few more options on the V2 like being able to hit both footswitches to toggle in and out of looper mode while the V1 you actually have to lean down and switch it over, I've heard a few other things but I can't remember them.
