Yeah don't talk yourself out of what could be a good thing. You will never know unless you give it a go. Missed opportunities suck. Better to regret something you did than something you didn't. Trust me, I know too well.gunslinger_burrito wrote:Yeah, I think something shifted in me last night when she came to my show..... probably going to hang out with her later tonight or tomorrow. Listen to this man. That's how I ended up with my girl. Best decision I've made, despite my logics telling me not to.KaosCill8r wrote:Yeah don't talk yourself out of what could be a good thing. Yeah man I feel like you never know how the relationship will be until you're there. I had a thing with a girl during the summer and it didn't work out at all, but I'm glad I tried and probably would have regretted not going for it.

I think the decision is beyond my conscious control
I definitely need to work on taking advantage of opportunities when they show up, whether it involves girls, or anything else, for that matter.

Just had a thought about this, dude. I don't know if this is good advice because I've never felt like I'm any good "at girls,"jfrey wrote:Wasn't sure whether to put this in the spite or happiness thread, so whatever.
I have been seeing this girl for a couple weeks, but I'm so cautious now that I can't even enjoy it. I'm like cliche keeping this girl at arms length. Even like with just talking to her. I go to text her, and then I'm like, idk I'll talk to her tomorrow or something.

but here's my two cents:
Just let her know you don't want to jump into anything to fast. It's exactly what I'm going to have to do.

Re: The what ever thread...
I have another date with her this Friday. I don't think it's going to go too fast. I just feel weird for some reason. Like, it's heading towards being serious for her, but I just can't totally connect on that even though I think it would be nice to.gunslinger_burrito wrote:Just had a thought about this, dude. Hmmm. I definitely got "murr" from a friend of mine...... It's so interesting how that kind of shit spreads.snipelfritz wrote:Dunno, it sounds like a Behndy-ism.gunslinger_burrito wrote:Did "sechsy" come from ILF or did you guys get it from somewhere else?
