Yeah man I feel like you never know how the relationship will be until you're there. I had a thing with a girl during the summer and it didn't work out at all, but I'm glad I tried and probably would have regretted not going for it.

I have been seeing this girl for a couple weeks, but I'm so cautious now that I can't even enjoy it. I'm like cliche keeping this girl at arms length. Even like with just talking to her. I go to text her, and then I'm like, idk I'll talk to her tomorrow or something.

Just had a thought about this, dude. I don't know if this is good advice because I've never felt like I'm any good "at girls,"
but here's my two cents:
Just let her know you don't want to jump into anything to fast. It's exactly what I'm going to have to do.

I have another date with her this Friday. I don't think it's going to go too fast. I just feel weird for some reason. Like, it's heading towards being serious for her, but I just can't totally connect on that even though I think it would be nice to.
