Well sir, I don't have anything to compare it with since this is the first EQ I have owned, but I really enjoy it so far. It is really helping me bring out a sound I have been playing with for the past few weeks.
From reviews I have read as compared to the Empress ParaEq, you can supposedly get more "extreme" sounds out of the WMD because of the more flexible Q range. So I think it would be more ILF approved than the Empress.
