it's the best for sure, but not quite how I imagined it. I kind of expected just a gb24 with extra modes, but it's more like the hot older sister from out of town. The sound quality is way more hi-fi to my ears. Mode 3 is my favourite so far, with the tri-playback loops, but I'm still getting familiar with everything. I could try to do a little demo tomorrow night or friday morning if you guys wanted.

It's a kid painted Fuzzrocious pedal. Other than that, I have not clue.

Yeah seriously, I would love that board. Fucks, mod delays up the wazoo, and drone. What more could you need?

Last night's brief spread. Got the Bottom Booster in the other day, had a blown power IC that I fixed up. It's kind of like the opposite of a Klon. While it does sound best with the gain low and the volume high, it fattens things up rather than thins them out. Sounds kind of eh with humbuckers, doesn't really do much but boost and muffle a little bit. But with single coils, it really, really shines. Makes them have some bite and grit like a P90. I was using my Nelson Coquette with it last night to test single coils, and I LOVE those pickups, they are already warm and full and have a nice bite but the Bottom Booster made them sound even better, surprisingly.

Running the BitQuest with a short modulated delay into the Bottom Booster was cool too. Little bit of grit on the end of the trails which was nice.

Still running the Boxidizer through its paces. It's actually quite different from the Rusty Box, at least to my ears. The gain structure is a little different, and doesn't get as completely saturated as the Rusty Box. You can certainly push it with another pedal to get into Rusty Box gain territory though. I've noticed that it doesn't stay quite as clean as the Rusty on the gain knob, coincidentally. Not sure if it's because the voltage conversion is all being done inside of the pedal with the Boxidizer, unlike the Rusty which is fed a higher voltage. It's definitely still possible to get a clean EQ'd setting out of the pedal with the boost on, you've just gotta crank the volume and lessen the gain a lot more than you would on the Rusty Box.

You can totally cop Shellac tones out of it easily. Paired with the DOD Edge, it's that nail scratching metallic tone we all know.
