I've currently got the Wizard Fuzz, Cthulhu Fuzz, Volt Thrower, Modded HM2 and a custom bass preamp. They're all the best version of each tone I've ever had, hands down. I've got the 300W tube head on the way too. I'm kissin Nick's sweet booty any chance I get, but it's well deserved. :thumb:

Corey Y wrote:I fully admit, I have the tone I'm hoping to get out of it fully covered by my cheap $35 Joyo pedal. I just really like all my Dunwich pedals and it's the only tone I'm not currently getting with that selection. I want an all Dunwich pedalboard and I'm ok with that. Also why I'm waiting on Nick to come out with a cool delay and/or reverb pedal lol.

I know that feel!!! I'm working my way towards an all Dunwich board as well, but need a Delay and a buffered volume pedal......

YOU HEAR THAT NICK!!!!! WE NEED A DELAY / VERB NAO!!!!!! (with tap tempo but sans dotted eigths por favor) :D

I've got the Cthulhu Fuzz, Volt Thrower and my custom Booster / Buffer (with an ODB V2 on the way) and I agree they are all hands down the best of those categories I've tried. Luckily I all ready get to put them into a 200w Dunwich. :yay: And yeah I'm kissin too... there's not many people I would do that for either.....

BTW isn't that bass pre AWESOME?!?!?! If I still played bass I'd be kicking myself for selling it.

The delay/verb idea will be down the road, its a much more colossal fucker compared to even an amp in some ways.

I know you got your own idea, but I really want one that's a consolidated MF-104M delay side with the reverb side of a Boss RE-20.....

IMAGINE THE TOANZ!!!!!!

Not sure if verb is in that mix just yet. I fucking hate spring verb and the only usual DIY units are all spring. The only non-spring and DSP based stuff and I dont usually fuck with that level of digital

I just sold my FAC OFF. :(

All the pedals Nick is making at the moment are on my must have list, but I just don't have money spare right now. :( Excuses, excuses.

Well I can live with just delay no problem. A verb (even if spring based) with a bax eq so it has bass and trebl EQ's like the RE-20 would be sick. I hate verb's that just have an adjustable LPF style tone knob... maybe I want just mid range and high end verb so my low end doesn't get muddy, ya know?

That's exactly the same boat I'm in, we should name it the S.S. Bummer

As of now there's only 3 makers I will really praise insistently. Dunwich, Drake Custom and BNA Audio. Plenty of other boutique stuff I've tried and liked, but those three I've had nothing but positive interactions on every level, exceeding my expectations. I'm pretty picky about recommending brands or businesses to other people. Nick is at the top of the heap, I would give him a solid recommendation to anyone and tell them it's worth the price and the wait.

I totally agree.

It doesn't hurt that I consider Nick a friend and a person I trust, which I can't say for anyone else in the business. Ryan from Dr. Scientist has always been a super friendly guy to me, but I haven't spoken to him on the same level as Nick. Dudes a dude. Plus, incredibly intelligent and gifted designer. Still stoked to receive my Railway 15 amplifier. Then I can focus on saving up for a pedal at a time—it's a just a matter of choosing which one first! Probably the Volt Thrower, then the DA120, then The Wizard, then the HM2, then the Cthulhu Fuzz.

Any of you dudes used the 'boost post' or 'promote page' shit on facebook?

I'm going to be running a sale on my ebook (ONLY 0.99, HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT'S A BARGAIN) starting tomorrow and was considering throwing down a meager amount of cash to try and get the post as visible as I can - which should theoretically be pretty easy to get a return on that if a small percentage of those who see it waste a dollar on my shit.

So yeah - words of advice about that?

I've also started my slow and deliberate campaign of bothering Gary Busey on Twitter about reading it for the audiobook. Best case scenario? He doesn't read it, but I get to be directly involved in a full on Gary Busey incident.

I have a page for my business on facebook and I refuse to pay for that stuff.

Gary Busey, eh? Sounds hilarious
