The repainting has occurred and I am digging the new layout.

Thanks! You can't see it from the picture, but either side of the board as well as the back paneling is still green. It gives it a bit of nice contrast. Plus, I plan on having my girlfriend paint something awesome on the back so people will have something staring them in the face while I'm on stage.

Sweet board mang...How do you like yer fuzz god II on bass? You use it for the occasional weird noises, or do you have it dialed in for more useable dirt?

I can't make up my mind about my FGII, it doesn't seem to cut through a mix that good, and it seems like my mastotron covers a lot of similar grounds...So maybe it might make sense to move it to my bass rig :idk:

It sounds pretty rad on bass IMO. Lately, I have been using a sort of 8-bit-esque sound (volume and fuzz set high, wrath and sputter set low). I like using this setting into phasers for a really burpy, synth-like sound. But if you roll the sputter up a bit you can get a more traditional and saturated fuzz sound. It's also fun to play around with the feedback loop and make horrible noises.

Idk I probably won't keep it forever. Next on my list of things to get is a more "usable" dirt. Probably a Darkglass VMT.

Here's a pedalboard in progress - I'm using it just at home for recording drones and loops and what have you, and I bring the compressor and DD7 with me to my jam space where I use it with my Dirge fuzz skully made me. I'd love to be able to bring the board and my guitar but it's too much to carry since I don't own a car.....

It's pretty messy since nothing is being held down with velcro.... I'm very anal retentive so this must end soon.....

Chain is dyna comp clone > white light > rat > muff > trem > DD7 > HoF > Flashback, but I'm still futzing around with the delay/reverb configuration, trem is before because when I'm playing live I'd like to use a stereo steup, but we'll see how this rolls. I would prefer it to be Flashback > HoF > DD7 but I like the looper last in the chain, so I'm sort of thinking about a dedicated looper in addition to the Flashback.... or I might try to get the hang of using the DD7 hold but I find it kind of a pain..... I kind of regret selling my 616 now :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:

Big Box Rat + IC Muff is my favorite dirt combo ever! My #1 fuzz is actually a combo of the two my friend built me!

Everything else about your board slays as well. I've alway dug your rig!

Cheers thanks!! That pedal is so sick. Skully built me a Rat/SSStampede fuzz that I like as much as these two, on my smaller crappier jam space board..... I wish this muff was smaller, I don't have any interest in rehousing it but it seriously eats up a lot of real estate :grumpy:

Board is pretty much set, but need a pt jr, and a mission sp-2 for the disaster transport sr. Bassballs isn't mine, just having some fun with it. Had to throw the sg in there, because "why not" its an sg.

Its a fun one, the dual rat tail stacks well with both the lluna and hm2. I stack the lighter side of the rat with the lluna to add some fur, and use the heavier side of the rat into hm2 as I use the hm2 as sort of a buzzsaw boost. Prefer the lluna into the hm2 though, as the lluna has alot of cut through that helps the hm2 not get lost in the mix. Polychorus just showed up this morning, finally.

And are you still doing custom builds skully? Interested in having some sort of modded tufnel distortion built. If so let me know and will pm with details.

Final board shot before upgrading to my pt Jr on wednesday. Gonna keep this small board around for whatever, but its packed. Top left is my new rehoused Dirgedweller. Such a good delay for bass. Nice and dark and thick.
