so cheap on craigslist or pawnshop/used stuff places. Its an instrument that holds little to no value. I was literally handed one by an old neighbor down the street.

^It is! Holy shit, it can get really heavy (by my standards anyway). I also found out that the Great Destroyer and the LAL Super Oscillo is a match made in heaven. They seem to be a great match on any setting, from subtle fuzzdrive to oscillating, sputtering tremolosounds. Great stuff. Turning on the DB summons Satan. For the first time in a while I had to get my strap and play standing up, which is always a good sign.

Yeah I checked craigslist, and there were only 4 in my local area. One of them was $1800

Eivind: Pedal is cool as all hell. Can't wait to play with it :thumb:

I need a bass and a midi keyboard so I can start recording for real. All these straight up guitar recordings are getting old.

Thanks. There are plenty on ebay that will ship. My only concerns are for the ones I see that are reasonably priced are often they are very old and who knows what condition the innards of these things are in. So, it is very possible if I buy one I will need to have some parts repaired. Which won't necessarily be the fault of the seller since they cannot or typically wouldn't access the stuff under the hood to know this. Oh well. I am sure I will come up with something.

bagpipes are seriously drone worthy, and nothing under the hood to go bad :joy:
I've been on the hunt for a hurdy gurdy for a couple years now, might DIY it eventually.

Yeah Ive looked into bagpipes, they are very expensive too. I am sure really hard to play also. And yes, I have looked into Hurdy Gurdy's as well. I think they are all like $3000+ bucks for a decent one. What am I rich?
