Yes…since getting my Marshall JCM900…thats exactly how i use it…its perfect.
Yeah your clip of that sound made me wait patiently to get my Butcher. Running QM>low input of the Butcher puts me into High On Fire territory. Joyous.
I was renovating my kitchen all last week and had a little scrap lumber left over from when I redid the floor - cut this to fit a spare keyboard case I have, added a little bump for the back and spray painted it black. I will add the velcro in a bit and then I can have a fully functional board at my rehearsal space, and my road case at home so it's around whenever I need it, for shows and such.
This will be - compressor > white light > Muff > DD7 (or SMM w/H) into a reverb. I might buy a Hall of Fame and then I will have two separate totally functional boards....

That's quite a lovely idea - I've been thinking about the G24 for a little while now. Could be a perfect use. How well does it oscillate? Does it get a crazy volume ramp-up?
No, not really. But it does other kinds of weirdness really well.
fuzzy pic. having fun with recording my roommate's flute into the tape player and making these pretty warped tape loops out of it. getting some cool chirps w/ the fwd & rev while playing, then doing half time on the whole loop. then beats w/ drum machine.

sorry for the late reply, blanket.
There's quite a few ways to utilize them depending on what I'm playing. The key difference between Revolver and Raptio is that there's a Polytope and Xerograph Deluxe between them that dramatically effects how the glitch comes out. The Revolver is mostly used on mode 2 which is kind of a random loop capture, but it's also used in Mode 1 with the speed cranked, so the raptio work in tandem with different speeds. The Possessed is an entirely different beast, which I hope to make a video soon. Probably not much help there. The board definitely has some intended redundancy - I have at least 2 of every effect
