Your disdain for Star Wars makes me sad on the inside.

Hey guys, I am back from my Baltic trip. I got to visit a few places in Scandinavia and Russia with my family. First real vacation in a couple years. Glad I took today off too though. My internal clock is all off. I got in touch with my ancient Viking heritage though. But now that I am back I can get to work on my new baby. And because I want to share it with all here is the mock up, still waiting on the neck.

My wife has been watching Big Bang theory, thinks it's hilarious. About a month ago she asked if I wanted to go to a comic book store with her. I was confused but why not? So we went, and I wandered around the place while being generally uninterested in it's wares. She seemed confused. On the ride home I asked her why she had wanted to go to a comic book store when she didn't buy anything. She told me that was where nerds hang out and she thought I'd have liked it. Apparently soldering circuits and fixing guitars = Science = Nerd.
I'm cool with that. :idk:

Don't get me started on Star Wars though. I will fucking full on nerd out on that shit.

My dunwich preamp is called "Mostly Harmless" I've already got a bit of a nerd theme going in my rig.

Thanks guys. Although I missed about 30 pages, so I don't think I am going to go back and read all of that. So what did I miss?

I think the bridge is from Guitar fetish. The two pickups are from them as well. I shall see if that set up works but I may end up changing the pick ups. I want to keep them the same style though with a tele style neck and a p90 in the bridge. It is a dream 90 but if I don't like it I may change it to the mean 90 and after that I'm not sure.

And for the nerd thing, people just don't understand stuff outside of their own likes. I have been nerdy as long as I can remember digging on stuff like sat wars and lord of the rings. Family means well and they try and buy you stuff for christmas or a birthday but it is always weird shit. Like "Oh this has a wizard on it, He'll like it." And it is one of those tshirts you buy at target that is from the 90's with a wizard, dragon and flames but is just kinda lame.

One of the bands last night was called Diesto, and one of their 7" had an explanation of the band name that included a reference to Hotblack Desiato.

I was a big Star Wars nerd until those awful prequels came out.

Yeah, Star wars definitely went downhill as the prequels came out.

And to spam another picture:

I am going to let this dry for a few hours and then I will probably put another layer on there.

I think I will post a separate thread to keep track of the build.
