Fake drums are the bane of my fucking existence so it makes me hate this song in its entirety, especially the intro, but I've gotten some good feedback so I figured I'd put out the single before I finish the EP as a whole.
My only claim to fame is playing saxophone on every piece of music that I make as I can, so if you're in to that kind of thing, it's here.
I clicked the link and didn't read you description (something I do constantly lol) and was browsing other open tabs, so the sax completely caught me off guard! Good shit dude!
awesome signature with witty quotes from all you fuckers

Which was awesom! recorded all 80 mintues worth of the instruments and guitar overdubs in a 20 hour timespan. We still have some more vocals to do and that date is booked for early June.
Also, this song is a great sample of my bass tone for the album...Ric into Peavey Vulcan straight in with built in fuzz into a unknown 415 and my Dunwich DI clean powering the power section of a sunn concert bass in to a 118.
THIS! I like this very much. Looking forward to hearing the rest of it.

Pretty cool man, I'd dial the drums back a bit personally. I never liked using fake drums either. gave me fits trying to get them to where I was not hating them. The vocal over the sax part was a strange combination.

lots. Throw some Chromes on there. What are the tone cap values? IMO to much bright is easier to deal with than not bright enough. the guitar is doing it's job, now you just need to control the output. Bridge and what not I would leave unless there is a mechanical reason to change that.

this guitar is set up for Eb with 10-48s for negitive effort playing so im tryin to stick to roto reds causevtheyre all nickle and finding chromes smaller then 54s is a pain. . . pretty sure its a 500k and a bright as fuck dirtyfingers+ but id rather not swap the pup unless it was a last ditch effort. le fuu.

I agree with that...always ways of taking out the brightness...if its really bright, you could use middle position, takes the edge off and adds more beef from the neck pickup, but it can get a little muddy. I jammed on a friends Epi 335 and I ended up doing that, but it was too muddy, so I rolled down the volume of the neck volume slightly and rolled off the tone on the bridge...it was fiddly to start with, but when i hit the sweet spot it was perfect.

My thoughts exactly.

I dig the fuck out of this.

I like this too. The drums aren't bad. I'd even them out a little bit though if it were me. The snare and bass drum are a little louder than everything else, especially during the blast beats. The clean part with the sax is fucking awesome. Can't wait to hear more.

That always helps me. I had a Super Distortion in a Tele once and it ruled. Thought about putting a set in my LP Standard but I went with Duncan Distortions instead. Don't regret it one bit. Sounds awesome, especially with it plugged into my JCM800 when I had it.

I really like Wovenhand and Black Sabbath and I barely listen to doom... I also only like Sleep when I'm smoking? This place is rad though, and I'm really glad that all of the people I like from Talkbass and HCFX are here without the shitty people for the most part.
