I've been actively trying to kick the Bad Monkey off my board but despite trying a handful of fancy boosts and ODs the little fucker keeps sneaking back on :grumpy: Think I'm just being irrationally biased against Digitech though. Using it to tame the highs on leads at the moment. Also thinking about replacing the Echo Park with a more tape specific delay. Thinking Montavillain or Disaster Transport Jr. Suggestions?

I dug the Disaster Transport. It has very thick mid present repeats, if you use your delay for washiness, it'll get you there quickly and excel at doing it, especially with the modulation on the full Disaster Transport, definitely worth the money

I got a Disaster Transport about a year ago and I haven't remotely wanted to try another delay since.

Plus 1 on the DT. I have a Jr. It's great.
Plus you and I have a VERY similar setup, so I can vouch for it working in your context.
My only gripe is it don't do trails.
Also, welcome to your life debt to the black forest. The dark one demands riffs....and blood.
Mostly riffs.
Also, smash it with that FZ-2.
These things I know, for they have consumed me.

Digitech pedals are the shit.

Turbo flange = rad
Hyper phase = rad
Death metal = 2nd best distortion ever
Digital delay = great

- bad monkeys are a really good TS type thing. And the direct out is useable.
