I have been caught in a couple things like that. My new custom cab for instance....
But as long as you are up front an honest the pissed off level is much less than if I'd tried to hide it. That reminds me i gotta tell her about that double neck before it gets here.

The worst thing for me right now is sympathy eating with my preggo wife. I have a sweet tooth like crazy and she never has, now she wants cake an icecream in the house at all times. Nothing to hide, but every once in a while she does the math and figures out how many pieces of cake I ate in a day.

Thanks for the pointers on the storage spaces from like 6 pages back. I'm going to have to invest in a big boy job before I'll be able to afford paying that kind of rent every month. I think that's the take-home message here. That these drugs are fucking addictive and remove any mechanism that allows someone to say, "alright, that's enough".
We are hardwired physiologically to take drugs (clearly, otherwise they wouldn't work) but moreover, we are hardwired to become dependent on them. It takes a lot of fucking staunch and stamina to pull up in the face of your addiction and flip it off. I have nothing but the utmost respect for people that can kick. The unfortunate reality is that the majority of people who take those sort of substances don't have the resources to turn it around.
So when I said before, "I don't know why anyone would take bath salts" I guess it was more to do with that cautionary mechanism that most people have. I know some people don't give a fuck, but as ry just said, surely if you'd heard bad shit around the traps and your usual thing was available, would you not just avoid the thing that could potentially be awful, and not what you want?
I know, self destruction and blah blah, but bath salts is not meth or horse or crack, and it doesn't even sound like the same ride. From what I can gather, once your body temperature spikes, it shuts down your higher function brain areas and turns you into the unstoppable adrenalin zombie, I don't think its something you would really be cognizant of, let alone remember.
Again though, its hard to find any real information on the shit and it seems like they keep flipping the molecular structure around so that it binds differently...makes it hard to keep track of.
