Doom!Cat is unamused by your riffery.

I haven't played drums in years and my stamina is gone. The drummer we have now told us the other day that he is planning on joining the army but his recruiter said he had to lose some weight before he goes. He said he was going to be heading out to basic in July or August. I'm gonna be moving to the drums until we find someone, which looks like never. I'm cool with that on one hand because I fucking love playing drums, but on the other hand I don't wanna cause I just got that sweet ass fucking Matamp.
I think its becoming more and more clear.... either you need to move up here or I need to move down there.
Yes it is. And I have seriously thought about that too. We'd have the heaviest band ever.
We'd turn into Electric Wizard?!?!?!?!![]()
More like the east coast Neurosis.
Totally down with that.

How thick is that strap? A kitteh guitar strap is almost a must have for me but I also need a good strap to counter the neck dive on my Epiphone.

I'm actually picking it up today -- $250 on the local craigslist with the adapter and a memory card. It was a shits 'n giggles search and the ad was like a month and a half old when I sent the email, but lo and behold no one had picked it up.

I know the feeling. Stoked/terrified to go into playing with it cold, since this is a pretty big departure from how I typically make music -- even my previous stabs at playing with reason.

My next 7-string will probably be one of these (more subdued woods, with a less-pointy headstock):

It is a decent thickness. I have had it for only a day or two so I can't really tell you whether it is good for neck dive but based upon everyone else's recommendations in here I would say you probably couldn't go wrong with them. http://www.couchguitarstraps.com

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Got my new Couch strap in this week, gonna put it on my LP before the show tonight. Very excited.
Also, 1349 is horrible. I almost fell asleep when they played with Behemoth a couple of weeks ago.
