they sound cool, will have to hear the live set as no vocs are audible in that. I trust Steve though. He's done an amazing job lately of getting good bands to play with. I'm sure it helps to have everyone wanting to be on a bill with you but the dude has some good taste.
i'd like to get some 15's back into my setup, but what I have now is working really well together and space is a definite issue. Getting to the point where we need a larger van.
The 1x18 fh/4x12 is still in the works. Not sure whats going on as last time I saw it, it was nearly complete. Been a Looooooooong time now.

Yeah, I might build a little 1x15 like that when I get some time....or just a mock up to run a beta bass into when I eventually get one. Yeah dude, that is gonna be rad when its done.

i actually dont know excactly how they figured them out. but iirc it was mid 60s when they fingered them out based on a scientific equation that revolves around the way a speaker behaves.
not all drivers work well in horns and some are made for horns.
good deals with Noise. . .guitmatt, magiclawnchair, delaydecay, Fuzz_Pi, nixhex113, theAntihero, Ancient Astronaught, bigchiefbc, jwojtysiak, neonblack, osbornkt
True. So maybe acoustic made some of the first? Vox? Selmer?
With the idea of a reflector cab then, would there be a special design/type of speaker designed for that application? I'm assuming something is going on with the phase of the two that face each other as well?

All I can add as a Folded horn aficionado is that when you get your hands on a good one, it adds a completely unattainable depth to the sound vs. without one. I cherish the GK4412H I lucked into. The ACC 18 i have is also badass, but not as good for guitar. Stock it was very inefficient and needed a ton of power to keep up. Rocked on bass though. I'm hoping it will translate to the custom cab that's in the works. If you like depth, find a good FH and add it to your rig. Just massive sounding. I want clips of that randall someone got. I forget who. Looked very good though.
