haha at least you figured that out for yourself instead of buying one and being like one of the numerous people that buy them to utilize even less strings than you claim.

I have a 7 and use the full range for odder chord combos.. and I actually use it with an extra high string instead of another low. hell I can just tune low.

I've been debating getting an 8 string because I want to do more weird tapping with a wider range to do some stuff like Demilich and Timeghoul. I've done some stuff kinda like that on a 6 but I want to do a lot of two hand tapping chords on it. :idk:

Looks just like that, though the graphics are a little faded from use. Misterstomach can vouch for the radness of the Hoof. :thumb:

So a gatefold with naked devil women riding motorbikes, making out of with skulls and phallic mushrooms while wizened wizards look on with airbrushed nebulas exploding in the background then?
Cool. Good to see Whores doing something fucking cool for a change :p

The only real use for an 8 I can think of is tuning it down to E and using it as a bass, seeing as I'm a mildy accomplished bassist. Other than that I just can't justify the purchase. Though I do need a new guitar for live use, can't really get away with using the Zoot Suit SG for Grind and Sludge stuff live anymore. Heavy riffs, big old amp, bunch of pissed off dudes, LOLLIPOP GUITAR.

Well, now SOMEBODY needs to make that happen.

You guys are going to dig the new AW songs. they fucking killed it tonight. so good.

I got asked a question about what weird time signatures we use.
Time signatures? Ain't nobody got time for that!
Actually I just have no clue about that shit. I just like, play the riffs, man.

Axman, I'm glad somebody around here has some taste.

So keen to hear new shit from AW...and your band...and all your bands!
Also looking forward to ending this year and starting my own fucking band.
It must be done.

I gotta go back and listen to your Flux-schtuffs again...I remember loving your sense of harmony and arrangement, can't remember strange tempos (I admit, it has been a while, but y'all keep blasting me with new shit and I can barely keep up).

Fuck, I hope my daughter sleeps tonight.
So very over being a zombie.

Flux was great last night. I don't know about any odd time sigs- though I did have to hit the pisser once during the set, so maybe they railed into 11/8 for 40 seconds.... though I doubt it. Had to split before AW's set- super bummed, but my chilidog dinner was fighting violently to free itself from the cage of my innards, leading to a moment that was best experienced in private. I am considering some changes in my diet.

this is the first time i've seen this... I don't know what to think of it

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/amplifiers-effects/3rd-power-amps-hlh-series-312-180w-triangle-guitar-speaker-cabinet

It's neat in a way but not very practical. where the fuck am I supposed to set my head? am I supposed to get two and have them sitting on the ground leaned on each other to make a retangle? The more I think about it the more I want to punch it. :picard:
