Nice. Definitely gonna have to get in on this.
humancertainty wrote:Hey guys. Been a while. I didn't even try to peruse through the last month of pages. Well, I went through the last week.
Anyhow, I survived tour. There were definitely some highs and lows. Went through three vans the first week. A piece of shit band from France broke into our van in Lyon. We played some rad shows, though. Touring with Inter Arma ruled. Such great dudes and a great band. Only a couple of days with Windhand, unfortunately.
I generally don't like to post this kind of stuff but it was really cool to wake up to today.

And Nick, I'm too stupid for a kit but I would love an assembled HM-2.
Glad the tour went well (for the most part). I'll leave that page open so I can watch the videos after my kid goes to bed. Is that your pedalboard with the volume pedal and Jamman in the bottom pic? I think I remember you saying you were looking for something like that to control samples and whatnot. Anyway, what else were you running on your board?

I'm down with an HM-2 kit; I'll just have to hire Ax to build it- zero chance it would work right if I tried to do it myself

That was our bassist's board. He used it to run samples between songs. I didn't take a picture of my board but the guitar side was a Pharaoh, an Oath, an RV-5 and a DD-6. And a tuner, of course. Plus a Lehle ABY. We do one song where Dylan sings so I run my guitar through his rig for that one. For noise and such, I used my modular synth with a few pedals. The modular side was a Boss FS-6, a Moog expression pedal, a Dunlop stereo volume pedal, a Dunwich Ultimate Stereo Tone Box, and a Radial Passive Stereo DI. I had to get a fucking Pedaltrain Pro to fit it all.
Fun fact: A Pedaltrain Pro can't have any pedals on it when you check it or it will be too heavy.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Just catching up on the last 10 pages or so on this thing. The new SG looks cool. If anyone out there is getting rid of those vintage style tuners let me know. I'm into them. Aesthetically. I've got Grovers on mine but they don't look right to me for some reason.
Just set up my old 70s style pioneer speakers in my living room and found out that one of the mid range drivers got torn the last time I moved. Bummer. Now I'm on the hunt for some replacement 4 inch drivers.

So, guess who's going to visit the BAT cave to try out some pedals and see where the black magic happens?

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
fucking awesome.
Mike I'd be glad to put it together for ya.
In pedal assembling news, finally got to populating the Marsh boards and realized I did a boo boo. Several of the resistor values I ordered were the wrong size. right value, but way to physically big. So I need to order the right ones that will fit on the board and figure out how I hairbrained the initial order so I don't do it again.
I've done a bunch of kits but this is my first foray into ordering all the parts. Apologies to those concerned for the delay. I've taken long enough on this as it is. will make it a priority to get these done.

Nice. I'm trying to convince our keyboardist to run his stuff through some crazy pedals.

You'll love it there. He. Has an awesome shop with a great view of the city. My wife and I stopped by while we were on vacation there last year. I got to fuck around with an Oath and a few other pedals before they came out.

Convince him to play keytar while you're at it.
And Mark is such a nice dude. Met him in person at Pallbearer/Royal Thunder and he was super excited to chat with me. Dude takes care of his customers really well and treats us as friends.

Thanks!
It's one track with a Fuzz Factory and one track with a bubble font muff.
The fast part at the end is a Red Witch Fuzz God.
