so getting the HM2 got me thinking about having a death metal pedal board…so far i have a Noise Gate, a Tuner, a Delay and that HM2…i have 2 spots left on the board…what else should i go for?

options are:
compressor
reverb
phaser
chorus
OD (to boost the HM2?)
EQ

any thoughts/opinions?

My wife has been taking a burlesque dancing class for a few weeks. Last night she got up on stage and dominated that place. Freya West headlined it and I got to meet her too. I'm one lucky dude. Here's me and my hot lady after the show.

I can't help it though -- my first thought was "how is he holding her leg up when his hand doesn't work?"

And my second thought was this:

It was my right hand, but any reason I can to touch her will be worth the pain. Thanks for listening to my stuff, glad you dig it :thumb:

That's the only one we have recorded so far. AS soon as I'm able to play again we"re gonna hit a studio and record 4 more songs for either a few splits with other bands or just release it as a full length with.

A 2-stage phaser or a vibe, definitely.

Awesome job, Nick. I love quality headphones, especially with some unique touches.

want me to bum you $10?

Cloud Rat and Thou are fucking awesome. They keep touring together but not playing Michigan. UGH.

Thou is doing a tour for their collaboration release with the Body. I'll definitely be checking that.

Jex Thoth is another female fronted band to check out. They are more on the stoner rock end then doomy but maybe you will dig them.

And I'm listening to Old Iron now. Good share.

Also my girlfriend bought me a warmoth body as a gift. I'm waiting for it to come in the mail but once I get it I can post some pics. It is going to be added to my list of projects as it is an unfinished body that I am going to stain and put all the hardware on. I already have a bridge and two pickups. The body is coming with the control plate and pickguard.

Skullservant, I found your post on offset but I will need your guidance as I am going to stain it ebony and just use tung oil to finish. If anyone else, TJ, wants to chip in with advice I will gladly accept any tidbits. I figure once I get the body going I will order the neck.

Doubtful. I'm pretty sure my ears are made out of vagina at this point. I would totally cringe. Then grin like an idiot, put in some earplugs and go to town

I don't know if it's getting older, or the fact that my job is essentially to listen to people, but I even bring plugs to shows just in case these days.
